FESTIVAL OF FESTIVALS: A CELEBRATION OF DIVERSE BUT UNITED CULTURES

Unique sounds, vibrant colors, and graceful dances filled the streets of Baguio City’s central business district on 24 October 2025 for the Festival of Festivals featuring the signature celebrations of the six provinces and two cities of the Cordillera.
Contingents from Baguio City, Mountain Province, Kalinga, Apayao, Ifugao, Abra, Benguet, and Tabuk City showcased their cultural festivals – Panagbenga, Lang-ay featuring Begnas di Bauko; Bodong featuring Turayan Dance of Tanudan, Kalinga; Say-am featuring Rambak ni Mannalon of Luna, Apayao; Gotad ad Ifugao, Kawayan Festival, Adivay, and Matagoan Festival, respectively.
The Festival of Festivals is part of the Cordillera edition of the Philippine Experience Program (PEP): Culture, Heritage, and Arts Caravan of the Department of Tourism graced by Tourism Secretary Cristina Garcia Frasco, Regional Director Jovy Ganongan, Baguio City Congressman Mauricio Domogan, and officials from the different provinces and cities.
According to the DOT-CAR, the Cordillera edition celebrates the vibrant cultures and enduring creativity of the region with the Festival of Festivals as its highlight, a grand showcase of its very own celebrations and cultural identity.
