Farmers do Binnadang or cooperation at Bolo Creek

La Trinidad, Benguet 19 0ctober 2025 – Farmers and folks at the Swamp Area do “binnadang” or cooperation in the dialect to avert flooding in anticipation of TS Ramil under signal no 1.
The community folks and farmers dredged and declogged Bolo Creek along the strawberry farms to avert another situation of flooding. Anticipating the strong rains forecasted in TS Ramil, this LGU initiated another successful activity at critical spots at the Swamp Area, Betag to help reduce flooding in the area.
Participated in by enthusiastic barangay officials, civic groups and volunteers, the activity highlights the indigenous spirit of cooperation among community folks. This “binnadang” is mutual aid and community cooperation that bring about positive changes in villages.
