Domogan wins Most Accurate Drive and Class A Men’s 2nd runner up at Bishop Otto Cenzon Cup XXII

Camp John Hay – Baguio City Congressman Mauricio Domogan took two awards in the Bishop Otto Cenzon Golf Cup XXII, Special Award Most Accurate Drive and 2nd runner up Men’s Class A on May 22, 2026 proving fitness in the game over 198 other players.

In hole no. 17 Domogan hit the ball on the line with accuracy, as he also took the 2nd runner up with a gross score of 74, a handicap of 10, and net score of 64.
Macky Abriol took the Overall Gross Championship in the Ladies’ Division with a score of 80 while Senator Lito Lapid outperformed the men with a score of 67 as Overall Gross Champion in the 22nd year of the Bishop Otto Cenzon Cup last May 22, 2026 at the John Hay Golf course that attracted 199 players.

Other special awards went to Derek Bautista for Nearest to the Pin at 72 cm in Hole No. 18 and Most exercised went to PDEA spokesperson Atty. Joseph Calulut with a gross score of 119.

Ladies B Division Championship went to nine year-old Kathy Lim with a net score of 64 with a birdie to boot. While 1st runner up was Kelly Ang and 2nd runner up Galima Batjer.
Ladies A Division Champion was HillStation Restaurant owner Mitos Yñiguez with a gross score of 85, handicap 22, and net score of 63. The 1st runner up was Hee Jin Kang and the 2nd runner up was Demma Dulnuan.
Men’s C Division Champion was Noel Tolentino with a gross score of 90, handicap 29, and net score of 61. The 1st runner up was Bhag Singh with a net score of 62, and 2nd runner up was Nico Reyes with a net score of 63.
Carl Bohol was champion of Men’s B Division with a gross score of 83, handicap of 26, and net score of 57. The 1st runner up was Gio Cruz with a net score of 58 and 2nd runner up was Simon Francisco with a net score of 61.
Contractor Marciano Garcia took Men’s A Division Champion with a gross score of 78, handicap of 19, and a net score of 59 with three birdies in the game. First runner up was Kevin Palingpingan with a net score of 59, and 2nd runner up was Congressman Mauricio Domogan with a net score of 64.
Kathy Lim was the phenomenon of the evening as she played with the adults after learning golf for a year from her parents Katharina and Paulo Lim. Asked if show would play in the next Golfing for a Cause of Bishop Otto Cenzon in 2027, she said she would if invited.
