Photography as a lifelong endeavor

A two-day photography workshop was just concluded last Aug 3to4 2024 with Master Photographer Noli Gabilo at the helm as he mentored around 17 participants from Metro Manila, Mt.Province and Baguio City.

At the workshop Noli Gabilo showcased his various published books as an inspiration for photo shoots from around the Philippines from Tawi – Tawi to Batanes for which he hails from.

13 Seasoned photographers and 2 young participants Sisters 11 and 9 yrs old.

The venues for the two days extensive Photography workshop was held in Jesuit Villa and Ecopark grounds, Lourdes Grotto, places of interest in the City of Baguio, Mines View where a glorious Moonset and Sunrise greeted the participants and organizers marking the start of the photographic workshop.Nature, birding, insects’ plants and flowers, landscape, human-interest, architecture, artistic closeups.
The final outcome of the two-day workshop will be a Photobook compilation of the 13 participants’ best photographs.The Workshop was also attended by this writer and other seasoned photographers who want to learn more in the Art of photography to broaden our understanding in producing outstanding images despite our decades of shooting, photography is a lifetime self-fulfillment that does not stop, there is always room for learning new techniques and an unending lifetime quest to capture outstanding images. Dave Leprozo Jr
