Six dentists from the Philippine Dental Association visited the Dontogan Elementary School last July 4, 2025 to give 855 pupils room-to-room lectures in oral care and free toothbrushes. The dentists represented six chapters of the PDA led by Baguio Chapter President Jovy Sobrera-Ybanez.
Assisted by the Rotary Club of Baguio North led by President Ayson Guron, Jr. and the Rotaract Club of UP Baguio led by President Lexie Red Bernardo, Zamboanga President Guelmar Kimm Ibarra, Palawan President Katrina Yvette Gepa-Mendoza, Muntinlupa President Roselynn Secapuri, President of the Philippine Hygienists Association Geraldine Lancion, and Benguet President Arvin Kindipan, the dentists formed two groups and showed the children aged 6-12 the proper way to brush their teeth, floss and gargle with mouthwash for dental care.
DES Principal Jacqueline Fianza thanked the group for the health care delivered by the dentists through a simple awarding of Certificates of Appreciation.
