BASCO LGU delivers assistance for Calayan residents

Basco Local Government Unit are busy loading goods at the port to residents of Babuyan and Calayan, Cagayan. Food supplies including rice, canned goods, and other items were among the relief goods.
Super Typhoon Nando directly affected Calayan, Cagayan last 22 September 2025. Other agencies together with Basco readied their donations at the port.
The Provincial Government of Batanes announced the receipt of the donations on 29 September for the Babuyan and Calayan communities. It was scheduled to be brought to the Babuyan residents by small boats by the stranded residents at Basco.
