SLU – Sacred Heart Medical Center bags Gold Award during the International Hospital Federation Awards 2025

The Gold Award of the Seddiqi Holding Excellence Award for Social and Environmental Responsibility was given to the Saint Louis University – Sacred Heart Medical Center during the 48th World Hospital Congress at Campus Biotech, Geneva, Switzerland, on 12 November 2025.
SLU-SHMC’s entry “Water is Life: Nurturing and Flowing Sustainability Beyond Hospital Walls,” was chosen for its green leadership initiatives and practices from among 740 submissions from 81 countries across eight categories. University President, Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, PhD; Medical Center Chief, Dr. Paul Adlai B. Quitiquit; and Office of Patient Experience (OPE) Head, Aldren R. Remon, PhD received the award.
The award recognizes SLU SHMC’s initiatives in advancing corporate social responsibility while aligning with key areas of organizational sustainability, strategy, and delivery.
