Raising Responsible Journalists

Campus journalists from 14 public schools in Baguio and La Trinidad attended the Baboo Mondonedo Journalism Workshop held 20 September at the Balay ti Alumni, Baguio City High School.

 

The workshop was organized by the Cordillera News Agency (CNA) and sponsored by the Benguet Electric Cooperative.

 

Trainors in the workshop include Leia Fidelis Gisela Castro-Margate, professor at the University of the Philippines Baguio College of Communication, Lita Jane Cadalig, Journalism lecturer of Recolletos Seminary, Carlos Palanca awardee Franklin Cimatu, and award-winning photojournalist Dave Leprozo, Jr.

 

The CNA will organize another workshop before the year ends, according to CNA Executive Director Sonia Daoas.
