PCSO Turns Over Charitimba and Rescue Equipment to Communities in Batangas, Misamis Oriental, Nueva Ecija, Parañaque

Mandaluyong City — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, officially turned over 1,500 Charitimba and rescue equipment to various localities on May 19, 2025.

Led by PCSO Assistant General Manager for the Charity Sector Arnel Casas, the distribution ceremony was held at the Conservatory Building of the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong.

A total of 500 Charitimba packs were allocated for each area: San Pascual, Batangas; the 1st District of Misamis Oriental; and the 1st District of Parañaque. These food buckets are intended for indigent residents in the said communities.

In addition, the local government of Talavera, Nueva Ecija received a full set of emergency response equipment, including 150 first aid kits, 10 trauma bags, 20 oxygen tanks, 20 handheld radios, 10 heavy-duty searchlights, 20 rescue helmets, 10 rescue ropes, 10 stretchers, and 20 life jackets.

These efforts underscore PCSO’s commitment to supporting Filipino communities’ health and safety through proactive and responsive public service initiatives.
