PCSO Donates Medical Equipment to Balangiga, Eastern Samar

Mandaluyong City — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over 30 wheelchairs and 15 nebulizers to the municipality of Balangiga, Eastern Samar on May 19, 2025, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles formally handed over the medical equipment to Balangiga Mayor Dana Flynch De Lira during a turnover ceremony held at the agency’s Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

According to Mayor De Lira, the nebulizers will be distributed to various barangays and Rural Health Unit (RHU) in the municipality, while the wheelchairs will be allocated to persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Balangiga.

This initiative highlights PCSO’s continuing commitment to supporting healthcare and improving the quality of life of Filipinos in local communities.
