BAGUIO CITY – Around 5,000 people from various sectors joined the Multisectoral Solidarity March on September 21, 2025, to denounce massive corruption in government infrastructure projects and to call for the filing of criminal charges against those found liable.
The march brought together a wide cross-section of society, including students, teachers, doctors, indigenous peoples, government and private employees, artists, members of the clergy and religious groups, marginalized sectors, and concerned citizens.

Participants began their march at 9:00 a.m. from the Baguio Convention Center and the nearby University of Baguio. The march proceeded along Harrison Road and through the city’s central business district before culminating at Malcolm Square.
At the square, a program and prayer rally was held, featuring speakers who delivered impassioned calls for accountability and reform. They urged authorities to act decisively against corruption and to ensure justice by prosecuting those involved in anomalous projects.
The Baguio march was part of a nationwide series of rallies organized to highlight the public’s growing demand for transparency, accountability, and good governance.
Would you like me to make this more formal and press release–style (neutral, for newspapers) or advocacy-style (more emotional and rallying, for supporters)?
