DOT 2nd Philippine Experience Program launched at Festival of Festivals
Festival of Festivals features the performances of the six provinces and two cities of the Cordillera Administrative Region.

Baguio and Cordillera region Department of Tourism 13th Philippine Experience Program (PEP) coincided with the 4th Festival of Festivals featuring the six provinces of the Cordillera Administrative Region as honored guests in attendance were DOT Secretary Cristina Garcia Frasco, Diplomatic Corps from ASEAN Nations, Japan, and France, tourism establishments, travel agencies, Philippine Travel Tours Association, and PHILTOA.
The PEP Cordillera leg covers Baguio City, Benguet, and Mt. Province places of interest. The guests explored Camp John Hay Historical Core and Mt. Camisong Forest Park where Sec. Frasno and the whole delegation had the opportunity to soak in the pleasant afternoon at the Municipality of Itogon’s vast forested pine stands, Benguet’s Northern Blossom, and Bauko, Mt. Province’s towering mountain ranges, majestic rice terraces, and traditional local culture.
The 4th Festival of Festivals is the highlight of the 3-day event featuring Cordillera Region’s six provinces namely: Abra, Kalinga, Apayao, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, and the Chartered City of Baguio showcasing its rich traditional music and dance ensembles through the sterling performances by indigenous people’s groups clad in their traditional attire.
Sec. Frasco officially launched the Festival of Festivals with the traditional banging of the gong to signal the start of the culturally rich and vibrant festival.
A slight rain shower did not deter the spirit of the various cultural performances.
