DOT CAR celebrates World Tourism Day along Camp John Hay Blue and Yellow Trails

Department of Tourism Cordillera Administrative Region (DOT-CAR) personnel celebrated World Tourism Day by Forest Bathing along John Hay’s Yellow Trail on 28 September 2025.
DOT-CAR Regional Director Jovita Ganongan led the group in the nature walk, wellness, and Trail Clean-up activities with the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation”. The Morning Mindfulness Walk, Forest Bathing, and a trail Clean-Up Drive completed the day of wellness activities.
The two-hour-activity highlighted the value of reconnecting with nature, nurturing wellness, and promoting sustainable practices – reminding us that caring for ourselves and the environment go hand in hand in transforming tourism for the future according to Vince Dangiapo.
