Tapis and Bahag meaning Cordillera women’s skirt and loincloth are more than garments, they are stories woven into fabric that carry the timeless artistry of local Cordilleran weavers infused with handcrafted bamboo design “Solihiya“.

After a, successful Fashion Show in Los Angeles last March 2025, Sept 1 in Baguio City and upcoming fashion events at the Paris Fashion Week on Oct 5, and on Oct 25 in Los Angeles. Tapis and Bahag are traditional woven fabric designs from the Cordillera’s six provinces namely Abra, Kalinga, Benguet , Apayao, Ifugao and Mt. Province.
As the celebration showcases Cordilleran Heritage it carries forward the message that “Heritage is not a relic, it is a living and evolving masterpiece. We are reminded that our culture is not confined by borders, it is meant to shared, celebrated, and worn with pride.
